Did you try layer>transform>auto-orient, then orient along path?

He’s probably talking about footage you’ve already created outside of the tutorial. Ayato’s tuts are not for beginners. They’re not step-by-step-from-zero lessons. If he mentions something and doesn’t show you how to create it, he expects you to know how.
You should first read the manual. I’m serious.
Also, get Chris and Trish Meyer’s books Creating Motion Graphics books. They are the best guides to After Effects.Steve

We need more information. Tell us about your troubleshooting procedure:
1. which process triggers the error? Opening? Saving? Viewing? Rendering?
2. At what point in the process does the error occur?
3. Have you changed anything that allowed you to continue successfully?
– moved footage files to another drive?
– imported the project into a new project?
– disabled any effects that may be causing the error at the point where it is noticed?
– opened a previously saved project?If the error occurs when opening the project, try importing it into a new project, or opening with caps lock on. If that fails, and nobody here has the answer, you should call Adobe and pay for a tech support incident. Sometimes they can dive into the file and fix it … sometimes they can’t.
Next time, you’ll save the AEP under a new name hourly, yes?

… and for God’s sake, save the project under a new name every hour, not at the end of the day. Use AE 6.5’s built-in “incremental save” feature.
Then … only keep the most recent day’s set of AEPs if you like, or maybe keep one from each day’s work before that.

So …
1. when did this error start?
2. Has AE ever been able to render audio properly? If so, what has changed?
3. Try using a different audio codec from Premiere. Does it work?
4. Which version of QT are you using?
5. Try importing other files and rendering those.

Are you using MP3s? If so, don’t. AE only likes WAV or AIFF. Convert your MP3s to those formats in QT Pro or similar.
