You’re aware of the possible push-back from the marketing types who like to do PPT presentations themselves at the last minute?

You might have to create elements in the CS3 suite, then make a nice PPT template for the marketing types to use themselves.

Encore is a DVD Authoring app. You can presumably take movie clips that you have edited in Premiere, compress and import into Encore, then create an interactive DVD menu like, well, a DVD menu, where you see a grid of boxes, click one, then the clip plays full screen. You can also make slide shows. Check Adobe’s site or the Encore COW for more.

Premiere is a video editing app. You can take images and/or clips, string them together, and make a movie. That movie has to be imported into some kind of authoring app like Encore (for DVDs) or Flash. AE also makes movies that have to be imported into an authoring app.

AE and Premiere can assemble movies, sounds and stills to make movies.
If you want something interactive, you need Encore (for DVDs with limited interaction), Flash, or Director maybe. Or even Powerpoint (PPT).

Is the footage properly interpeted by AE?

If so, then all I can think of would be to apply a 1-pixel (or less) blur to the footage in AE.

Did you try switching off OpenGL in AE?

Most pros turn it off — it’s not that well-implemented to be useful.

If you can track a point on the wall close to where the splatter would be, yes, that would work. Otherwise you might get slipping due to parallax.

I can’t recall seeing any synergy between AE and architecture. In general, I’ve seen 3D apps used for visualization, and apps like Wirefusion for interactive 3D.

Have you gone to https://www.motionographer.com? They list the best motion graphics shops, and maybe you’ll find something there for your pitch.

Consider that Powerpoint’s advantage is the user’s ability to create something at the last minute for the next day’s presentation. Sometimes speed trumps quality. 🙂 have you looked at Apple’s Keynote as an option?

Regarding Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere, I can’t say … but consider the end medium for the presentation. Interactive or video? Remember, AE and Premiere make movies only. No interaction.

Sorry if this has already been reported, but Frank recommends rendering to an image sequence, then rendering that to QT. It’s simpler than it looks. Check his blog:
