Intel Core i74720HQ 2.60GHz @ 2.6 GHz
Should have opt for higher Ghz than that.

It cannot all of a sudden gives you multiple tracks, you are getting that
because of how you have imported the audio into Vegas.
Unfortunately i dont know what you are trying to achieve nor the format
etc of your file, so im unable to offer you any proper suggestion, because

I’m tempted to go Mac, each time i sit at my workstation, lol
But i honestly cant cram anymore New software and technological
learning in my head right now, sheeesh, too much in there already.

Whatever you have to edit from a CD, is not gonna take few days to render.
Plus most of what you are asking doesn’t make sense!
You first however have to extract the contents from the CD, then drop it

Try disabling resample on all the events on the timeline and then try again!
