Why are you exporting to Davinci Resolve? What further task you intend
on doing using that software?
By the way, an XML export from Vegas is not gonna yield all those expected

If its Vegas Pro 9 (64bit), it will work on Windows 10 64bit.

In the Vegas Project Properties, make sure that
Adjust source media to better match project or render settings

Its Light leaks or light bursts as you called it, its not created in vegas
but few can be downloaded free off the net or numerous are available for purchase.
Its then overlayed on top of your video on the timeline and there you tweak
to your taste.

Dont agree with you on that point John, They do have a business case to
justify making it 64bit!… It is a staple part of the Windows Operating
system and offers many codec flavors for many users including the
professional editing world and charges for going Pro, They do have reason!Its much easier for you to stand by your point, seeing you have now fully
migrated over to Mac. But remember, Windows is not dead, has a larger
user base and equally important as the competition, regardless of them
still supporting a 32bit architecture.
