Yes, External previewing has several kinks
to be ironed out….Does it lock up after a few seconds
without you selecting/pressing nothing or does

ok…this is what you do.
Uninstall your current version of vegas and delete
all its related folders. Then go back and install the
previous version (version 9.0a) and let me know if the

your projects will all be saved using Pro 9….alleviating

Not much users will get access to the
32 bit version as yet though…..But in the meantime Production Assist works well

I meant to only delete all the folders pertaining
to vegas movie studio 9 after you uninstall it….then
follow the info to run the check disk utility.Having several versions of vegas on the same pc
is not a problem.Steve Rhoden

Just a shot in the dark here….
Uninstall and delete every folder pertaining to
sony vegas…..Then run the check disc utility to
correct any corruption you may have on your system
that is causing this issue…eg
Press start, then press run
then type in chkdsk c:/f…then press ok.
when the prompts comes up press Y (fulls cap).
then restart your PC.
When all is done, reinstall Vegas and lets see

Go to the trimmer tab and disable “show video monitor“.
Then make sure that the auto preview button is also
