Unfortunately Norman, all that functionality cannot
be incorporated into Vegas easily….the best one good
hope for is that there will be plugins that integrates
seemlessly in all the flavours of Vegas that covers
those functionalities….and they are on the way.

Hmmm, I really do hope the Borisfx team are working on
being 64bit ready and more…..disappointingbecause
even the plugins for vegas that are developed by small
teams are 64bit compatible and feature rich.
In these times, one can’t sit back and rest on their laurels.

Yes, there is an obvious bug within the external preview
and its corresponding preview features, along with others
…But its not a show stopper for me in the least, the
updates will gradually clear things up however.

Try auto hiding the windows task bar….Then
drag up the vegas pan/crop window when the taskbar
falls out of view.

Simply go to the far right hand corner of the timeline
and you will see a plus + and a minus – sign….use those
to gradually expand and reduce the size of your timeline.

Your post is a bit confusing…still you can try
opening the event pan/crop window of the
project on the timeline, then right click in it
and select match output aspect….maybe
that will sort out those black bars.

Or its best then to first have the Vegas properties
set to the resolution you are rendering out to….then
select the match output aspect.

The new vegas Pro 9 has a very versatile lighting plugin
now included, that i know will suite you….They are
actually inherited from the Velvetmatter line.
If you dont have Vegas pro 9, you can still grab the
corresponding version for Vegas over at there site.

Still, you can get great results also using the color curves
filter.
