Furthermore, Mercalli (Prodad) is present in the FX tab, but selecting Mercalli (without adding it to the timeline) is sufficient to crash Vegas 9. Is this already known by the Sony people?
Prodad Mercalli works fine, you just need to go to their

When you have everything set on the timelin, try by
opening the pan/event window of the clip, then right

Well all i can wish you is good luck…i know what you
are going thru…..You can also try opening it if there
is a problem, by right clicking on the project file and

you say you do a manual save every 5 minutes or so….
are you sure you are looking in the correct folder?
or you can Try saving a current project and see where
its saving it and you can look there if the project is there.Steve Rhoden

Yes, It is worth the jump…Tons of added features.
But as Harold pointed out: there are few issues here and there
and more than likely the critical ones will be gone by the
coming update.
