What was the last thing you installed on your pc
before Vegas started acting up?
The problem seems that Vegas is conflicting with your
audio drivers, so instead of going thru all the uninstalling
of vegas and what not…..check out what audio drivers or
configurations you may have recently altered.Steve Rhoden

Thats fairly easy…first you can convert your text
layer to 3D by going to the track motion window.
Then at the top left, use the small window that marks top
(z axis) to drag the text on and off the screen. That is what
you use along with the keyframes to create the effect you desire.
and you then use a filter to create a shaking effect when the
text hits (prodad mercalli has a free videoshaker)….You can even use the same track motion and a few keyframes to

For the second problem, try going into preferences,
and under the general tab make sure you tick “close
media files when not the active application”
…..maybe that can help.Steve Rhoden

As i have guessed….Using Waves plugin on your audio
in Vegas Pro 8 will give you that click you are experiencing.
If you are gonna use any Waves plugin you gonna have to work
around that 1-2 second click intro.
However that click does not occur in Vegas Pro 9 nor
as you pointed out in earlier versions of Vegas.Steve Rhoden
