SonyVegas movie studio – only trouble encode
Hallo leute,
I have something recorded with Fraps (1920×1200), I have the files then SonyVegas inserted after the film and my wish is created.
Everything looks perfect from.Now when I render and
Example 1:Avi as output nehm I select video codec as h624 with an aspect ratio of 1,6 at a resolution of 1440×900 – as audio codec, I would gladly take mp3 but when I select mp3, it offers me no choice – I have only bad übrigt any standard codec to take or pcM uncompressed – both want ich nicht
Example 2
Wmv will output – again, aspect ratios 1,6 at 1440×900 – audio is holding the corresponding right codec – so fit
But no matter what video format I chose – I've always – right at the top left and bottom black bar!! I do not know how I should wegbekommen, The whole film is great but holding on all sides about. 4cm black bar, The aspect ratio fits. The resolution but I've also over the black edge….
What's wrong with the video codec?
What can I do as I mp3 codec can correctly?Danke für eure hilfe

Your post is a bit confusing…still you can try
opening the event pan/crop window of the
project on the timeline, then right click in it
and select match output aspect….maybe
that will sort out those black bars.Or its best then to first have the Vegas properties
set to the resolution you are rendering out to….then

you need to be using square pixels on output, not anything else. Some players cannot read non-square pixels.
Why are you using an odd resolution such as 1440 x 900? do you need to fit a specific window?

Also some codecs require the resolution to be evenly divisible by 8 and 900 doesn’t divide evenly by 8 so it must pad the picture with black pixels to make an even 8 pixels for the encode.
Try using 1/2 the normal resolution 960×600 and see if that encodes better. That’s still a good size for web delivery.
