purchase…sale price now is $75 bucks
Vegas should be able to read those files after you
install Raylight.

A would seems that the JVC GY-HM100U camera records to
the proprietary HD format ProHD which is geared for
Final cut users on a Mac….The alternative from what i
researched is to record your footage as ISO Base Media, which
is then compatible with Vegas.

you can only get the frame rate that the camera is
recording in….Any frame rate manipulation or conversion
would have to be done in vegas after the capture process.

Why not just grab a chrome metallic look texture from
google or https://www.sxc.hu .Place it on the bottom track
and the text with the black background on the top track
and set the text track compositing mode to multiply mask
and you are almost done….You can then polish up the
composite using the bump map filter and experiment from
there.
But still its just better and easier to just design your
specialized text in your image editing software, export it
as a png file with a transparent background and your all set
to drop that in Vegas.

If you want the preview display size show correctly
according to where you circled, you simply right click
on the preview window and uncheck
scale video to fit preview window. You can then manually
adjust the window until you see the full image or to
your liking.

Simply use an image editing software to handle that
side of things: Corel Photo-Paint and Adobe Photoshop
as you know are the two best…Or on the free side, the

If you are referring to a zoom transition, then
all you do to drag the clips edge further over the other..
(increasing the overlapped area).
