That is what you would call masking and Chroma Keying
(isnt complicated)….And can be done in Vegas. Just do

The Velocity envelope is the perfect option for a streamline
process of what you want to achieve. Setting it to zero,freezes
the frame…..But unfortunately Will, you are not using the
