Video Event FX dialogue box not showing up?
When I select an effect and drag it onto a clip, such as “film effects”, a separate dialogue box does not open, so I am not able to adjust the effect. Instead, the effect is applied as is. In youtube videos on tutorials such as how to add the “jitter” effect to videos, after selecting “film effects”, a dialogue box comes up as soon as the effect is applied. Is the box hiding somewhere? is there anyway to turn that feature back on? Thanks for any help!

Yep…You have sometime or the other dragged it behind another
Panel. Try first by going to view and window layouts and

thank you, but the box still does not appear.
Once the effect is applied and I click on the “event fx” button on the clip in the timeline, nothing comes up, instead the cut and copy icons at the top of the screen flash ?? -
Odds are that it’s hiding at the very bottom of your screen.
Set your taskbar to Auto-hide and, if it’s there, drag it back up to where you want it. -

Hi im having the ame problem but as i cant find it and cant autohide my taskbar skince i lost my activation key. can i get some help?

If you mean you lost the serial number(s) of your Vegas software, go to https://www.magix.com/us/support/my-service-center/ (“My Account”), log in and click “My Products”. If you have installed and registered the program(s), you would find the serial number(s) there.
