Try removing all the Vegas scripts located in the Scripts Menu folder located in the Vegas Pro
installation directory (place them in your documents folder for the time being)…. Then restart Vegas

That kinda sounds like your 4k footage is corrupt or have some kind of encoding issues to begin with!

Not fully familiar with all things VR in Vegas, but something tells me you need to do some project settings

Try uninstalling all your Vegas plugins first, restart your system, then reinstall Vegas and see ….

Check and double check your masking settings in the pan/crop masking window, something in there is off!

There was no need to replace your AMD radeon HD 6950 with hopes for faster rendering in Vegas.
And just to cut the conversation short, i would probably recommend your option to exchange

If you are only editing for youtube, VEGAS Movie Studio is good enough to settle with.

You have not provided any detailed info for us to go on.
But try whenever you are finish editing, restart Vegas, open up back your saved project and then render.Steve Rhoden (Cow Leader)
