Masking Tools Not Working- Vegas Pro 14
Hey everyone. I’m hoping someone can help me resolve this issue I’m having with my copy of Vegas Pro 14.
I open the Pan/Crop window and mask out an item as one would normally do, connect all the anchors, but nothing happens.
The mask goes bold when I hover the cursor over it as it should when completed, but the background in the Pan/Crop doesn’t go dark, and no mask shows up in the Preview Window.
It’s almost like the mask is disabled, but I’ve checked and it isn’t. Neither is it selected to only ‘Apply to VFX.’
I have no clue what’s not checked off here.
Attached is a screenshot of a completed mask acting as if it were disabled.
Any help to get the tools working again would be deeply appreciated. -

Check and double check your masking settings in the pan/crop masking window, something in there is off!

That’s because it is!
Try enabling it by checking the Mask checkbox.
