I would probably put it into a different sequence, put a title over it with bars on all four sides to achieve the right size frame. Move the clip around as needed, and then use that sequence nested into the main sequence, using Crop to cut away the four sides.

If I understand this, you just need to change the text. Use a Search and Replace program to change the text in the project file.

Do WAV files show up? Are you using a free trial?

You can tap the asterisk key on the numeric keyboard to create markers as the music plays, then sync to the markers. But, you can not have a fractional frame duration. You are pretty much stuck with 30 fps or 25fps (PAL).

You have to do it manually. Just set the poster frame at the top of the Project panel. You can drag to the end but then you will have to back off a little to see that last frame or so. Not a perfect solution for you, but the best Premiere Pro can offer.

No. It renders with the currently selected codec, if at all. And the export does not use Preview files anyway, except when everything is DV.

Matrox is looking to help me out so I will be able to do the review after all, I believe. Stay tuned. It looks like they have some people on the ball who want this review done. Certainly a good sign. I would be perfectly happy to try the RT.X2 out and then realize I really like it. If I do, I do. If not, so be it. They believe that I will like it. It is certainly worth my time to give it a thorough analysis.

No, you can’t. I have helped a number of people by having them send me their projects via YouSendIt.com and then I open them in a PC’s CS3 and save them. Then I send them back. They can then be opened on a Mac.
But the word “countless” indicates that I am not going to be inclined to do “all” of your projects for you. But if you get stuck and need a special few done, contact me via my website and I will be happy to help out.

Keylight is the best way. There are other ways. Have you tried Ultra (faster but less effective). It now comes with the Production Premium CS3.
