You can lasso a few with the selection tool and move them, but it that gives you trouble, you can grounp clips then move them.

I am not at all sure that the engines underneath the hood on both products are not the same. It may not matter, except that Premiere Pro will probably render a lot faster.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to this thread, but I have been getting my new house ready for moving in.

I understood the question to be “How do I create transitions?” And yes, the SDK is a tough grind requiring lots of programming experience. Creating transitions is hard work. But creating special effects is something completely different, as you have discovered.

It was not sarcasm. It was merely a quick answer. Too quick, it seems. Sorry about that.

You will usually know when it is about 30 days from being shipped. So that probably lets out Thanksgiving. Watch the European press. They always seem to leak it first.

Not easily. You could probably unlink the media in the Project Window, and then relink to a different clip.

The shape of the pixels is actually different between NTSC and PAL. There is more to the conversion than just size.

No, dubbing is not really possible. I use Aspect HD and I can just export to a SD DV-AVI, then export that to a VCR from a SD project.

You are probably correct – for you, and many people, but not everyone needs that.

Doing that gives you the chance to properly name your track as well.
