If you want to save only certain tracks, lock those track, then select all, then delete will remove the unlocked tracks.

With that type of balance sheet, they will most likely make investments or acquisitions. They aren’t going to be selling off anything.
Maybe they’ll just buy Adobe. That’s more likely than they’ll sell Pro Apps.

Let me put apple boxes under that steed of yours, and give you a higher horse, Tom. Now that the app is mature, it’s time to go back and grout the tile.
It’s well and good to add the newest, hippest things, but let’s also support the small needs and make it really “Pro”.
For example, I don’t think pros really need the sequence to auto-match the first clip dragged in, but they sure need variable prefs by project, and clearer media management, and strong timecode.

In Final Cut Pro, these are called Merged Clips. You can merged automatically based on inpoint, outpoint, timecode or aux timecode in the browser.
If you sync audio and video manually in the timeline, after syncing you can select both audio and video, link them, then drag that linked clip from the timeline into the browser, and you have a clip you can work with.

Editing is about 90 percent perseverance, so congratulations on your work around.
It would be nice if Apple made an all around XML to text tool, perhaps where you could check mark the info you want to export.
Perhaps they’ll get some editors on their team, and add some information exchange features useful to professionals. With the decline in the use of film, perhaps Cinema Tools can become an all around info exchange tool.
