Update, only seems to crash when a device is not connected.
Works fine if Aja io xt is connected.

Did any one solve the problem?
I often have hours of single camera sports coverage that I wasn’t view, select and to edit as quickly as possible.
I need very little of the footage.
I have to wait “hours” on each ingest for Premiere Pro to “conform”
there must be an easier way?

July 26, 2017 at 6:21 pm in reply to: How to achieve this type of wipe transition between footage?Disappointing since I’ve been able to do a
soft edged wipe on many platforms since the new 1980s
just not on premiere 😉 -

November 16, 2015 at 11:52 am in reply to: can’t add keywords in Bridge to mxf filesjust trying to log some headache .mov H264 footage
This quicktime format also gives me “unable to store XMP” error
how do you get side files to work in adobe bridge?
( only settings I can find are for raw picture files)

So if this were true all editing applications would exhibit this sync drift. Why is it that premiere pro is the only one that does? What is pp doing when it spends time “confirming” audio? Looks like I’ll be back to a “professional” application avid a a us fine 😉
-
The is no image stabilisation with a “broadcast” VIO POV_hd headcam, but it does record VBR (see below) https://vio-pov.com/pov-hd
In all my files the audio drifts way out of sync when brought into a “same as” sequence (dragged and dropped into new sequence)
Every other audio app I try the sync is fine.
Even Avid media composer remains in sync under AMA with these files.* * * MediaInspector for Mac – Version 2.6, build 953

December 3, 2014 at 2:34 pm in reply to: if you’re a one man band, is there any advantage to using Prelude over Premiere for logging footage???I have been using prelude to log headroom footage, as a data base for future editing.
I import all of the H264 clips that have been transferred from the daily card into a folder on my drobo which is my archive. I then import the clips and access from there.
I find however that after making a new bin in prelude it takes ages (minutes) to move any group of the clips into it from another bin.
In PP the moves are nearly instntaneous.
What is prelude doing, how can I speed it up?
Thanks Steve
