This is good!
…and keyframe ‘segment length’ to animate path. Not a lot of flexibility but it works.
Thanks.

Yes, that does work. A lot of prep work for 50+ PNGs to work with. I was hoping for a simple “Convert stroke to path” script or something. I’ve been painting free hand up to now, even though not as accurate.

Glad you did resurrect it, it helped me over four years later. No more re-keyframing!

I too am considering that camera. Other than the lack of that particular feature (which I wouldn’t use anyway) what do you think? What about the lack of 60P recording?

Hi Michael,
“You say that 100mbps might not be good enough. That can’t be true, I’ve managed with 35mbps with the EX 1…”I’m not saying that, others on another forum is saying that. Which is part of the basis of my original question. I believe my XH-A1s is only 25 Mbps. The other part is 8-bit color vs 10-bit color. I’m thinking the difference is very subtle and probably not noticeable except under extreme circumstances.

I believe .MXF is a wrapper, not a format.
I just saw this yesterday:

That works great, except ACTIONS won’t record the last step “Fit to artwork bounds” or “Fit to selected artwork” which I actually need. How were you able to record it?

Yes. Worked for me too (uncheck ‘composite preview during trim’).
Composite preview would be a good feature. Hope it gets fixed. -
I just started this flashing problem too with my XH-A1s. Firewire on the PC works fine with my audio interface, and tried other cables. Also doesn’t work on a 2nd computer. I had the firewire port go out on my camera twice before but I never entered the menu to notice the flashing menu if it was flashing or noticed the flash on the display. First repair $600, 2nd $400. If this is another fried firewire port on the camera, any idea why they keep going out? Camera is off when I plug in and unplug.

I had a working project (2 timelines, 2 menus, 1 slide show). I rearranged the order of some slides, then got a “Stream Overlay” error.
I unchecked ‘Fit slideshow to audio duration’ then rechecked it to recalculate the duration (I guess… that fixed a different problem earlier). Now I’m getting “End of stream has been reached”. All due to changing order of slides in a slide show, I also resized one slide, the same way I have earlier with no problems.Does this help with a possible solution?
