Your operating system is vey old. The current system is 10.7. I would run 10.6.8 if you can.

Gotta dig deeper. RAID storage? Kona, Blackmagic or Matrox hardware? Did you build your system or did an integrator? Have you run AJA System Test for drive performance?

Sequence settings? Codec? Something in the timeline is causing the conflict.

You have to stay on PAR and stick with a standard frame size. If you need a custom aspect ratio, do it in After Effects.

No, you can not. You can try to manipulate the scene settings to get as close as possible.

If you notice on Panasonic’s website, there are different scene files for each individual camera.

Not true. It’s all based on the camera sensor. The P2 camera I have, HPX-500 has a native sensor of 960×720. When dropped into FCP, it detects the footage and stretches it to 1280×720.
