Where did you get that frame size? Standard frame size for HD is 1920 x 1080 and 1280 x 720.

FCP never has allowed mixed frame sizes without rendering.

To do what Jerry suggests, drag your h.264’s into Compressor and choose ProRes setting hit submit. Drag the new ProRes file/s into FCP and hit yes.

I suggested highest bit rate because your video is only 4 minutes. That is your best option.

Are you playing the Blu-ray disc on a Blu-ray player or is this a preview on your computer?

I do not believe you can create a h.264 Blu-ray file in your version of Compressor. FCS 3 introduced creating Blu-ray. This is what I do in FCS 3. I use Apple H.264 for Blu-ray preset. In Toast, make sure you set it not to re-encode. I also have the Matrox Compress HD card which encodes h.264 Blu-ray files near real time.

This setting will not work for Blu-ray. Your Stream Usage must be set to Blu-ray. Once again, you can’t do this in FCS 2.

What you will need to do is drop your QT movie into Toast and let it do the encoding. Set it to the highest setting. On your G5, be prepared to wait. Good thing you have going for you is your video is only 4 minutes.
