You have to make sure your export settings are exactly as mentioned by AJA above.

Create a preset to make sure your settings never change.

h.264 (delivery codec) is the codec for YouTube not ProRes. 4-7Mbs is a good bit Rate. Compressor has presets.

P2 workflow is Premiere is flawless. You are not importing the MXF files correctly if you do not get audio.

Your gonna need a hackincard. I’ve never seen one.

If your computer has firewire, you can use a dv camcorder to capture to DV format.
