I have not fully testes my duel adapter. I know you are supposed to reboot each time you reinsert your P2 card.

We are actively working with Apple and expect to have this situation corrected in a future Mac OS X release.”

A very inexpensive solution is to connect any TV monitor to your system. All you need is a Firewire based camera and some RCA cables.

Eventually all hard drives will fail. I have a stack of hard drives that have died over the years. I also have a larger stack of hard drives that are working fine now.

For your G5 and external, Frys has a 500GB Maxtor SATA or PATA HD for $95. Get a few of them.
