Convert your PP slides into jpgs. Make sure they are video friendly. If they are not, you need to recreate them or scale down by 10%. Duplicate any animated slides.

You can always open the PP in Keynote.

You definitely have the wrong mics. The mics you have connect to a wireless beltpack.

What you need is the Sony ECM-44. They run about $200. That is what you are going to spend for good quality lavs.

I have never been a fan of autofocus. The only way to tell the camera is in focus is with a monitor.

Autofocus should only be used in emergency situations.

Lighting makes a huge difference on how the camera focuses in auto mode.

You have between now and Friday to put the camera in manual mode.

In the box with ALL the manuals and discs should be a 15 page document that says, “Installing Your Software.” There are two sets of serial number stickers on it.

Who told you this? If you’re going to make a Beta SP copy, might as well put it on HDCAM SR.
All unnecessary steps. Do what Shane says. Make a self-contained movie and let Compressor do its job.

Make sure your drive is FIREWIRE. Never use USB as a scratch disc. You will get unexpected results.
