    Give it a little time, they’ll come down in price substantially. Look at the 8GB card. Remember how much it was when it first came out? They were even hard to find in stock.

    My estimate for the 64GB is $1500 in a year. By then, the 128GB should be shipping.

    First you need to make sure your deck is set to PAL if if has the option. DSR-11 has a switch on the back.

    Letterbox will have bars on top and bottom (4:3).
    Squeeze mode is anamorphic (16:9).

    720p (progressive). 1080i (interlaced). If you want 720p24, you will need to downconvert.

    Your 1080i24 is 24fps (23.976) not 24p (progressive).
