You don’t seem to understand the problem. It has nothing to do with any of the hardware or software you are using. This is human error. Without naming the clips, FCP can not interpret the footage.

This is a very common mistake by users who use Capture Now instead of Log and Capture.

We gave you the answers regarding the 205 and the 200. The manual should tell you if there are any differences.

Petrol and Kata make great soft cases.

Zacuto makes a custom Pelican Style case and foam inserts just for the 200.

Both are excellent in low light. Better than the VX2000 and DSR-250. If you get the HPX-170, Barry Green’s book includes a CD with extra scene files. One of them is a low light scene file. The camera functions just fine in low light without the scene file.

I agree with Noah, if you can afford it, buy the HPX-170.

I own both the HPX-500 and HPX-170.

Keep in mind, PAL is 25 frames per second and NTSC is 30 frames per second.
