Not true. This is the cause of your stutter. An eSata RAID would run much better. You can add an Esata card to your computer.

Analog to DV should work. See if your DV deck has a DV/Analog setting.
The other alternative is a io box. AJA, Matrox and Blackmagic have devices that will work.

It is not that simple. First thing you need to do is convert your sequence to a PAL frame rate. NTSC is 60, PAL is 50. Compressor can do this for free or Nattress Standard Conversion can do it for $99.(https://www.nattress.com/?q=Standards%20)
