Thanks – this is what I am trying to do.

Here I am using a plugin called omino snake to bend and make the comp follow the path – but it will only extend to a certain point (2000px) unfortunately.

Just red up on traveling matte – it’s just a matte that moves…. amIrite?

This would work but I would need to duplicate the layer 100’s of times, if I am understanding right.

Walter, thanks, I am strugging to follow your settings but I think I am missing something

I don’t seem to have the time sampling option to split clip – loop, unless I am applying CC Particle World to the wrong layer?

Thanks for this, was happy to see it happen with someone esle, but his solution doesn’t work. I wonder what I am doing wrong?

Just to add, I think I am after this solution, or the next best thing:

Center the anchor point of the circle, and for the shape to morph around the same position of the anchor point . . . .I think
