    My first guess would be that you are recording at a higher frame rate than what you are then transcoding to, which will in effect be slow motion when played back. For instance, if you are recording at 60fps(frames per second), then transcoding to .mov (doubtful that you are transcoding to .wav) at 30fps, your playback would be at half speed.

    Simply ingest your footage with Prelude, making sure to use the ‘Transcode’ option, transcoding to the type of audio file that you need.

  • You can load scopes in the Source Monitor in the same manner as the Program Monitor. You must have at least one clip loaded there in order to load the scopes however.
