I emailed the developer to see if there would be a new version available, but I’m not holding my breath.

Now I have to ask myself if I should use Instant HD to up-res the footage. It was shot on 35mm, so I could redo the transfer, but that would cost some bucks that I am not interested in letting go of.

I’m running Windows 7, and I suspect that your thought on it being a 32bit codec is probably correctly identifying the problem.

Maybe, I can convert everything to Cineform, which will work in CS5.

Thanks for your response and your link.

I actually used the Timewarp effect and it looks pretty good.

Of course, I would have shot at a higher frame rate if my camera would have allowed such a thing, but it doesn’t.

The video I am making is for the Black Eyed Peas website. I’ll post it when it’s up.

I don’t know why this would have anything to do with it, but I deleted all rendered files in the work area, and then when I exported, I got the audio.

Darby and Jon, Using the solid layer worked perfectly. Thanks very much for your help. Although, I wish you could make global changes on the matte position. You can do this in Combustion and it would be very convenient.

    Thanks again,

Hi Darby or anyone else out there,

Unfortunately, I can’t use the existing layer as a track matte. The mask shape modifies an existing alpha. Moving the layer so that the mask is in the right place, moves the existing alpha shape out of place.

Any thoughts on how I could move all the keyframes at once? Is it possible to write an expression for the Mask Path raising the Y coordinates or something like that?

    Thanks,

Darby, thank you. I reset to 60% and the problem has gone away – hopefully premanently.

Sorry, I never found a solution. I think reinstalling might do the trick, but that’s a nightmare in itself.

let me know if you discover anything.
