If you are trying to do the countdown where a number is in a circle and it wipes to the next number I would build that in FCP using the clock wipe. Hope this helps.

At my work we have sticky notes in 5 different colors, if you want to change the color so it seems like you have 5 different sticky notes let me know. Plus it is a lot easier then what I’m about to tell you.

As for adding different sticky notes, duplicate the Particle Cell in the Project Pane or timeline. Hit F4 to open up the Particle Cell. At the bottom there is a Particle Source well. Drag a different sticky note into it and you have the new stickys on top of the old ones. Hit the Random Seed button to change things up. Click on the Emitter in the Timeline or project pane, check the 3D check box and then the interleave particles check box. Repeat for every new kind of sticky. Hope this helps.

[Chris] Is there such a thing as pre composing, as in After Effects?

Yes, placing layers in a group is just like pre-comping. If you put your text into a group and apply the Glow behavior to the group the glow will go out side of the text box.

Also, you may want to mess around with the Glow under the Style tab, it can go outside of the text box with out “pre comping”. Hope this helps.

I’m not a 100% sure what you’re asking, if your asking why there is no alpha channel and just black you need to set the “Compressor” setting to Animation. Then click on the Advanced button and set the Depth to Millions of Colors +. Hope this helps.
