From what I recall the newer version of Adobe Premiere can export an XML file which I like better then an EDL. Or maybe it can only import one. I would request an XML file. Then you can import it into FCP by going to File, Import, and then choose XML or EDL. Depending on which file you get. Keep in mind that you will need to get all of the clips, art work, audio, etc. Best of luck.

[ellen] So how do I just tell the keyframe to move to a new spot on the timeline in the keyframe editor without dragging it
Click on the keyframe or select multiple keyframes. Then type how you want to move it. The second you type something the Move box will appear. For example, if you type 30. It will move the keyframe to frame 30. If you type + 30, it will move the keyframe 30 frames further down the timeline. Best of luck.

Happy to help. By the way, iPhoto can do a whole slide show of photos with moves if you don’t want any control. Something worth looking at if you want to do a quick and dirty photo slide show with moves. Best of luck.

I put together a really quick example of a video looping 4 times.
In a nutshell I created a particle and then keyframed it’s life so it would go off the screen. I then layered the particle so it would appear as if it is looping if you cut part of it out. I think it is easier for me to give you the project file and let you take a look. Please take a look at the attached project file. 418_particleloop.motn.zip At 3:04 and around 9:17 the particles are the same. I just looped that 4 times in FCP and this is the results. Hope this helps.

If you want to just track the arrow head I would use the Match Move Behavior in the Motion Tracking Behaviors section.
