Sorry, no cube generator. If it where me, for dice. I would Create a square and your dots in a group. Add a camera so you can change to perspective camera, so you can change the angle of the camera to see if everything is lining up right. Duplicate the group and adjust the dots and then rotate it and change it’s position so it lines up against the first group. In theory you would end up with 6 groups. Place those groups in one group and animate the main group to animate the dice. Hope I made sense.

I agree, if you add HD footage to an SD timeline in FCP, FCP doesn’t do the best job converting it. It adds stair stepping. AJA will do a far better job doing an down conversion from HD to SD. Compressor will work as well. I cut my HD footage in a HD time line and down convert it last. Best of luck.

It depends on the TV station. You need to contact them and they will give you the criteria for submitting a spot. For example, in SLC one station will take ProRess while another will not, they want a Final Cut Pro Quicktime movie. Best of luck.

Stay away from codec like the DV one. They don’t like text. I use the Animation or ProRess 4444 ones the most. Hope this helps and best of luck.

I think Keynote has a pre-set to do that. However, this is how I’ve done similar effects. Use the circle shape tool to create a circle. Set to outline. Add logo. Add “Motion Path” behavior to logo. Change “Path Shape” in motion path behavior to Geometry. Drag the circle shape to the Shape Source well. Hide the Circle and you have a logo that follows around the circle. Add the other logos and best of luck.

I’m not a compressionist so do with my advice as you will, but Sorenson Squeeze is great. You will not feel sorry for buying it.
Believe it or not I’ve gotten great stuff with the Flash Video Encoder. Take a look at this Motion Graphics Demo Reel I did. It has lots of movement and was compressed with the Flash compressor.Check out my Motion Training DVD

If you ever get a chance you might want to take a look at Motion which comes with FCS. It has lots of free content such as the “blurry cloud.png”. The paint tool can create all sorts of things like you described as well. Best of luck.
