You can also do other tricks like add a drop shadow to the logo and make the drop shadow white. Or duplicate the logo and blur and make the “bottom” logo white. Then it gives the eclipse type of light from behind look.

Jeff is right. Also, you can change the shapes thickness in the Stroke tab.

Mike, as for your comment: (For the record I’d be willing to bet about 99% of moderate users of Motion have no idea how to use about 99% of the stuff in the content library. Big $$$ for somebody to do a tutorial series on this subject.)

Instead of QuickTime Pro, export out an image sequence in Motion. Do the following:

File, Export. Change Export from “QuickTime Movie” to “image sequence”. Click on the options button to change the type of still you want.

Sorry, I mis-understood. To export a still frame land your play head on the frame and then go up to File, Export. Change Export from QuickTime Movie to Current Frame. If you want to change it from a .tiff to something else then click on the Options button. Hope this helps and best of luck.

iPhoto can do slide shows on photos real easy. You can time it to music or tell it how long it should be. They have templates to choose from. It is very cool.

If you want to do it in Motion then give CoverFlux a try.

If your line was created in Motion with the Bezier or B-Spline tool just add a write on behavior. If not, I cover how to do a write on – write off effect for elements created out side of Motion in my Apple Motion Training DVD. Hope this helps and best of luck.

Do you mean snap to the text on the right which will change in length based on what the text is? Or snap right to part of the graphic? Yes, I think a image would help.

Sorry, this is where the built in filter is very limited. You will have to layer the lens flares to get that look like I did at the end of my Moving With Motion Commercial. I would take a look at Knoll Light Factory, it has a free trial so you can see if you like the Lens Flares it generates better.

Boris FX also has a Lens Flare plug-in called Contimuum Lens Flare. It has a free trial as well and looks like it is cheaper. Anyways, click on the two links and see which one you like the best. If you try them both please report back on which one you liked best and why.
