Did you check to see if the text color is the same color as the background? Did you try re-starting your computer?

We used to shoot all our big spots on film. And then have them color graded and transferred in a different State. We haven’t done it in a few years. I’ve found that one of the keys to making it look high end is to make sure you do a good color grade on it.

I’m not familiar with this open. But yes you can separate and rotate to other scenes in Motion and AE.

I just watched it and it looks pretty simple. I looks like they just have some circles that have been replicated or used the particle emitter. Then randomly changed the opacity and had the logo dissolve in the background. Some thing maybe unrelated that you may want to look at is this plug-in: https://idustrialrevolution.com/idrplugins/particlemetrix/index.html

To import an illustrator file do the following: In Illustrator, save it as an Illustrator Document, make sure Create PDF Compatible File is checked. Import the file into Motion. Open up the Project Pane. Click on the Media Tab. Select the file. Uncheck Fixed Resolution and you should be golden. I only uncheck the Fixed Resolution check box when I’m done because once you do that Motion chugs. I don’t have a problem working with a crappy looking AI image in Motion until I’m ready to export. Hope this helps.

And I hope my comment did not sound like a slam towards Mark Spencer. I don’t personally know him and I have never meet him. But I think he is a great guy who wants to help people out and show them how powerful Motion really is. His advice is great.

Welcome to the forum. I have created a 2k spot that runs after the trailers at the Megplex Theaters. One of the best theater chains ever in my opinion. Anyways, take a look at this 2D images in a 3D environment photo move. And by the way, it is really fun to see your work on a huge screen.As for your question: “or could 2K do the job without loosing to much quality.” Avatar was shot 1920×1080. I thought it looked amazing on the iMax screen and so did a lot of other people. Also, I would check with the theater that it is running in and see what they can take and decide from there.
As for the other question, “which codec-settings (i use “compressor”) would i need to export the final project (video & audio)?” For a digital projector at a theater you need to make your movie a DCP which stands for Digital Cinema Package. Compressor can’t do that. Best of luck.
