FCP can’t edit .MXF files. You have to log and transfer the .MXF files in the log and transfer window where FCP 7 will convert them to quick time files (.mov)

What codec is your footage from FCP?
I find exporting out as Pro-Res 422 (HQ) looks great. Take a look at this open for a corporate project I just did:

I loved the spot!!! It was really cool. I forgot, but I was going to write thanks for sharing the cool spot in my original post.
Our first instinct is to want to animate all of our camera moves with the camera’s position and rotation options just like we animate everything else in AE. Learning to use Null Objects is an amazing way to get what you really want the camera to do. You’ll have smooth camera moves once you learn that and that is covered in these tutorials. I find it really depends on the clip you are trying to work with. But to darken it take a look at the Color Correction Effects. I’m a big fan of the levels filter. For Smoke be sure to check out Video Copilot’s Action Essentials 2. It has lots of great smoke: https://www.videocopilot.net/products/action2/

You need to Duplicate the Comp with text, other wise it sounds like you just have the same Comp with just a different name. In the Project window select your Comp and hit the Command and D keys to duplicate it. Then you will have two different text comps. Hope this helps and best of luck.

If you created it in Cinema 4D it is easy to just use the Cinema 4D camera. If you had to track it yes you could use Mocha but it will be a lot more work.
