Thanks a lot for your replies! I think I know enough for now. I hoped there would be an “easy” solution in text animation, but I guess there isn’t any. Well, I’ll just start animating like crazy then 😉

April 11, 2010 at 12:27 pm in reply to: No shadow casting with 3D Invigorator

It worked out! I created two planes for the wall and floor. But the shadow quality is terrible! I already tried to crank it up in the user settings. But nothing changed. How can I fix this?

    Thank you,

    Stef

    Hi Edward,

Thanks again! I’ve got one more question. So if I set this up correctly, I have animate my object within Invigorator. Or, can I assign the plane and object to different sets, so I can animate my object using a control layer in AE?

    Thank you,

    Stef

    Hi Edward,

Thanks for your reply! So if I understand you correctly, I have to create a plane inside Invigorator and apply shadow casting to that plane?

    Thank you,

    Stef

Thanks a lot for your tip Maxi! It’s works really great! But unfortunately I can’t use this plug-in. I’m kinda tight on budget… So is there a way to work this out without the use of 3rd party plug-ins?

    Thanks a lot!

    Hi Bill,
Thanks for asking! I got a look that’s very close to what I wanted, so I’m pretty happy with it.
    Thank you,

    Hi Kevin,

That’s what I was thinking. I played around with particular and cc particle world, but it doesn’t give me the control I want. So I did it by hand. Took me more than a day, but I got the desired result. But thanks for your respond though!
