I have exactly the same question… Did it already work out?

I saw my reply didn’t get through here. I’m sorry for that. Thanks a lot for your answers. I think I can figure this out now 🙂

    Thanks for your reply, Glenn!

Linking the footage from the hdd is the actual problem… If I use Media Tool to link the footage from the P2 card, I don’t have any issues. Even editing goes fine. But when I copy the contents of the card to a folder on my hard drive, Media Tool doesn’t seem to find the footage anymore. I leave the file structure the same as one the card.

A tutorial on the Avid website taught me to put the video and audio files in the same folder and then import them. But that doesn’t seem to work.

I’m I maybe doing something wrong when copying the footage to my hard drive (it’s an internal one)? Or is the Media Tool not the right way?

Thanks! I usually don’t really use a lot of functions inside FCP. But I should start looking into it…

Weird… Both on creativecow.net and in iTunes itself I got an error message, saying the podcast was offline… But they both work fine now. Maybe it was something temporarily.

    Hi Richard,

thanks for your reply! Unfortunately the podcasts seem to be offline… I can’t reach them through the cow site, neither trough iTunes itself. But Google always helps!

Thanks again, but I was more looking for a quick way to make text look more grungy/distressed like the font you use, but without creating a complete typeface 🙂

    Oh right… Here it is:

But I already found a solution. I set the opacity to 1 instead of 5. That did the trick 🙂

    But thanks your reply!

    Hi Dave,

Yes Collapse Transformation is on by default. I can’t even turn it off… I also found the solution: recreating the shapes seems to solve the issue. But I have no clue about the real source of the problem. To me it looks like there’s is some render issue going on. I use CS4 by the way.
But the problem is kinda solved, at least I have a decent solution. So thanks a lot for your help!
