    Hi,

    I was wondering what the best order would be: key first and grade after or the other way around? I’m using Primatte in AE and want to use Apple Color for the grading. Or should I get Primatte for FCP and use that instead?

    Key first, do compositing and first pass color correction to match the chroma footage to your background footage. Then proceed to the final grading. I prefer Magic Bullet, Colorista and Synthetic Aperture in AE to grade, but Apple Color works just fine.
