I’ve installed Premiere Pro CC 2014 a few weeks ago and I have a similar problem with Media Pending and really long loading times each time I open a project containing multiple media assets.

To speed it up a little more I’m manually emptying the media cache folder (user/library/application support/adobe/common – manually, because if I use the dedicated button in the preferences/media panel it won’t gain the same result) erasing all the files contained in the two media cache folders inside the “common” folder. Although this is speeding up the linking operations inside Premiere, unluckily it’s still not 100% solving the problem. With simple h264 projects (coming from a DSLR camera) the problem seems not to happen, but when I start using different medias, well, Premiere becomes a serious problem.
I wrote to the adobe support (the italian one) but they gave me really poor informations, and if I should count the lost hours due to this issue, well, I should have a free subscription to the CC service for a one or two years.
I’m really unhappy about Premiere CC 2014, and I’m still wondering how Adobe could release such a software on the professional market.

Well, until today Adobe has been a good company, maybe the best at all, but if things should run like this without a solution, I will probably (and sadly) look for an alternative to Premiere.

Hi,
your Final Cut Pro plug-ins folder:

Applications/Final Cut Pro.app > right click on it and select “Show package content” (or similar, my OS is italian) and then, inside > Contents/Plugins.

Hi,
I’m experiencing the same with Final Cut Pro when zooming in/out or panning still images, and it would seem that this is really caused by the excess of details/thin lines. I’ve tried everything has been suggested here and in other pages to solve this problem, but I’ve really never got the result I’m looking for.

Although I’m still looking for a solution, I’m afraid it should be said that photos are not fully compatible with video, if zoomed or panned, unless we accept a lower quality output in our work.

I’ve also tried to switch on After Effects, but obviously the result has been the same, and the same will be with any other software we’re going to use.

Is someone agreeing with me about this conclusion, or if not, why?

Hi everybody,
I had a similar problem:

Panasonic AG HPX-171;
Mac Book Pro purchased on the end of march 2010, OS vers. 10.6.2 (Snow Leopard);
Final Cut Studio 2 version “I don’t remember what” (sorry) but earlier than 6.0.5 (it was the one installed by default with the Final Cut Studio Pro package, bought maybe 2 years ago (if I’m not wrong…).

Anyway, importing by Log and Transfer, the problem was this: selecting one or more files in theclip list on the left side of the tool (of the window I mean), and then clicking on the Add Selection to Queue button, I had this rounded dark icon with an arrow inside spinning on herself, with any progression bar, and after the arrow had started spinning, clicking with mouse once on the clip in the queue list, that should had already been imported, that dark circle became red, with a question mark, and a message “no data” when mouse over.

I solved the problem updating FCP with the “software Upgrade” (upper left of the screen, apple icon, click, scroll down and you’ll find it). Actually the update has updated my FCP to 6.0.5, and the problem is gone.

Really hope this will help you all to solve your problem.

Ok, I solved the problem, from what it may concern to my machine:

“Noise Industries – FxFactory” tools are OK. No problem with them.

I read on a post on another forum about a person with the same issue.
The answerer suggetsted him to remove the Matorox MX02 (that he uses, and I use too – do you too?) from the quick time folder in the library folder (not the “user/library” but the root of your drive library folder).
The same could happend with Blackmagic Multibridge card too.
I did, problem solved… but what about my MX02 now..?

I put back that files (3 files) inside the “library/quick time” folder and I get a look to matrox… it was unplugged!!!
I accidentally unplugged the cable under my table with my foot…

your same problem…

The last thing I’ve installed is “Noise Industries – FxFactory” tools.
This “DOESN’T” mean this is the cause, it’s just to know if you recently perform the same installation. If so, maybe this could be the origin of this problem.
