I’m running the DP4 Update 1 of Lion and it does not add any features to FCPX.

Seriously, what do you guys expect?

I’ll just consolidate

– FCP7-like Motion integration (send to motion, motion files as normal clips)
– Ability to work in custom resolutions
– “reconnect media” option
– Multicam functionality (state of the art) *or just period
– PSD multilayer
– audio track export interchange (Logic, PT,etc)
– project file handoff (swapping .fcp files, like)
– XML i/o

Not really. I too have a MBP mid 2010 with GT330 512 MB. Motion 5 loads much faster than Motion 4. Usage and rendering speed pretty much the same.

Yes. Motion 5 is incredible value for a tiny amount of money. With all the current Apple hate that is going on, I have to say that they did an awesome Job with Motion.

They just removed all reviews from the German App Store too.

I keep working with FCP7 until FCPX has been updated and is usable for me. At the moment I have no plans to switch to a different package.
