    Hey Jeremy,
I don’t get it, it’s working today! This is weird.
I’m leaving for a trip. And will need to test this next week.
thank you for your comments. The 720P project at 59.94 does convert to 525i. It works today.

    Thanks,
    Stan

    Hi Jeremy,
I forgot to mention that the other HDMI input to the Plasma takes both SD/HDSDI from my smokeHD via a AJA HI5 converter.
Seems to me the problem points to the ioHD HDMI downconverted 525i signal workflow only. Don’t understand why AJA is now ignoring my support emails to figure out the problem.

    Thanks Jeremy,

    Hey Barry,
Thank you, I just figured that the 1700W has an rgb component
input, so hooking up the HVX200 to the monitor, then taking the switch output loop from the monitor to feed my 1200A HDSDI input to the deck to record, should work. I just wanted to know if anyone works this way to get the footage to DVCProHD tape. I am doing some leg work to determine if I should get the P2 Player or the 200 camera,
I’m a post guy, trying to find a better workflow.
    Thank you again,

    Stan

I had a question concerning the switched output of this monitor?
Feeding the 200 through the 1700 to a HD Deck and recording the HD signal, is this possible?

You’re viewing high-def analog component. HD signals can be sent via component, or also digitally (via HD-SDI or HDMI, etc). So you are seeing a high-def signal.

(Unless you’ve gone into the menus and told it to downconvert everything to 480/60i, which is an option that’s available to you).

    Thanks Walter,
I do think something is seriously wrong with this deck.

I will pass this info along to the owner.

Thank you John for the info, But I can’t find that menu number #20. It not in the menu in the machines.
The menu number skip #20. Is there a reason this deck doesn’t have this settings. After item 09 it goes to
    022. I don’t have a clue, very frustrating. I do see the settings in the manual. What’s up with that.
I did get the edit done, had to reposition to get everything centered.

    Thanks anyway,

    Stan

The menu setting for #20 is AV Phase? I got it to lock partically but now the deck is locked at a differerent place.
I will look for this your setting but can’t find the heading.
