Big thanks Jacob! The vid was only 1:00 long or so, but took me about 16 hours of work to get it rotobrushed. For my first rotobrush experience it didn’t turn out half bad. In fact it impressed the bosses and I got some kudos… Here’s a screen grab of the final result:

Maybe I’m asking the wrong question. What I really need to know is – what is the best way to get rid of those trees?

Thanks for the response. VCP is video co-pilot. The presets were put together by Andrew Kramer. I’m just not sure if they are 64 bit ready or not.

Well, for the scale and the mask, there are no keyframes. It’s just a flat setting for the scale, and a regular mask.

Ben, thank you for your response. Through some trial and error I was able to figure out my problem. With the output module window pulled up, I clicked on format options in the video section. Under Basic Video Settings, I needed to check “Encode Alpha Channel.” That enabled me to select RGB + Alpha on the main window.

Thanks for the response. When I dragged them directly into the render queue, I got the same result, as far as renaming goes. I needed to export the clips as mp3s, and in my novice ways, this is the best way I knew how to do that.
