I can’t figure out what I did. I had created an animation preset by selecting the scale, mask, and then the effects of a certain layer, and went to Animation, Save Animation Preset. It worked fine – but now I can’t seem to get the scale and mask to be incorporated in the preset.

How would I start from scratch to incorporate scale, mask, and the effects from one particular later into an animation preset?

You’re making sure you’re selecting all the keyframes, right?
I mean, this page [link] makes it sound so simple, how could anything go wrong?

Well, for the scale and the mask, there are no keyframes. It’s just a flat setting for the scale, and a regular mask.

Try adding a keyframe to see if that helps.
