Thanks for the quick reply, looks like exactly what I need! Max does all 3, but in this case I’m exporting horizontal.

  • Sorry, you’ve exceeded my high-school math abilities… Good luck! You might want to check out the release notes of CS6, because it is really weird that it works fine in 5.5. I think I remember some expression things may have changed since then though…

I saw the new version of AE has a preference to turn this off. Whoohoo! The other night I had a fairly hefty render slam to a dead stop while I was out because of this silly dialogue!

Glad to hear it, hope it comes out soon – I’m working on an all CG project right now and pulling my hair out!

Aha, just what I was looking for! Thanks Dan, I won’t have time to get to it today but I’m sure that’ll do just the trick!

    My scripting adventure continues…

You got 1:1 MXF to work properly?? I’ve been going back and forth with my editor for hours and I keep getting an error when trying to import the 1:1 MXF files, saying that they are unsopported… It seems like this should be no problem for AE but I can’t quite figure it out.

October 17, 2012 at 10:55 pm in reply to: “easy-ease” layer sequencing?

    Hey Dave,

Thanks for the response! The part I’m trying to figure out is the “Auto sequence.” I definitely know how to sequence the layers by a preset value, but what I’m trying to do is ramp that value. So the first layer is offset more than the last layer. Hopefully that makes sense…
