I think these are very encouraging signs. If NAB demo created some anxiety then this leak has happened for better. And i think there is a good chance that this leak was intentional.
At the cost of being called a ‘chicken’, I would say I am feeling very relieved today.
But as the you guys yourself have been saying, we will have to wait untill the FCP X is officially launched, to know its real worth.

IMHO you should buy Panny Af-100.
Records AVCHD on SDHC cards which are not that expensive. Abilty to get shallow DOF with a wide range of lense choices. XLR inputs, SDI output. Can record to external recording devices like nano flash. Very good performance under low light conditions.
And FCP X is said to have native support for AVCHD so editing should be smooth!

By faster lens i mean a lens with low F Stops.They allow a lot more light in to the camera sensor. For example a 50mm F1.4 is a fast lens. These faster lenses are a great asset if you are shooting in low light conditions.

Getting good exposure on a DSLR can be very tricky. What you see on that tiny LCD is not the true reprsentation of what you are recording. This is what i would recommend.
1. Keep your ISO fixed at 200 in the begining.
2. Open your aperture to expose the shot.
3. Hit the info button twice on your camera and you will get a Histogram on your LCD. This feature is a life saver. It will give you a true representation of your shot’s exposure.
4. If however, your shot is still underexposed, you can go higher with ISO but at about 1600 you will see lot of noise. So be vigilant about this.
5. If your shot is still underexposed (perhaps time to buy a fast lens) you can they play with shutter speed but be very careful because this can cause rolling shutter. So if you are doing any pans or zooms, stay away from this trick.
I would suggest you do lots of test shooting before you try these on a paid gig.

I can say from experience that without any accesories, both t2i & t3i are too light for Glidecam HD4000. I mount the Minipro LED light on top of my dslr which helps me balance the glidecam. But i have a vest so its easier for me.

I recently bought t3i having used t2i for quite some time now. Here is the list of differences that i found out.
Firstly, you have the articulating screen which makes lifes so much easier in different shooting situations.
Secondly, you get better audio control with t3i.
Also T3i feels a little more rugged than t2i though 60D is more heavy duty than both these cameras.
Overall, i am pretty happy with t3i as a crop sensor camera. Buy a 17-55 2.8 and you should be set for pretty much anything. Though lenses wish list is never ending for a camera guy.
