I would advise you against it. This seems like a very long shot to me. You will unnecessarily be dividing your attention from what you do best. Even though you plan to have a person dedicated for this task, it will still play at the back of your mind & God forbid you have any last minute hiccups your shoot will be a total mess.
I myself do weddings and i like to keep my shoots straight & simple, atleast as far as technical experimenting is concerned. I had some bad experiences in the past.

If yes, then let me tell you that we talked about shooting 1080p on t2i not 720p. Some experts were of the view that in order to match 720p footage of HVX-200, one should shoot at 1080p with T2i as 720p does not give great results.

Also consider Flolight’s Microbeam 128/256.
I have never used one but what i have read about it is impressive.

I don’t think spending money on HVX-200 makes any sense or even HPX-170 for that matter. They both are pretty poor in low light.
I agree with Noah, go for Panasonic AF-100, but only if you fully understand this camera’s advantages & limitations.

What i meant was what codec was the film transcoded to?
Hmmm… uncompressed 10 bit. So how did they decide the resolution ? I am assuming 720 X 480 was too low a resolution for film.
