No I did not use any gain on the camera.

The scene was well lit. couple of 500W plus daylight(coming from window) plus ambient lights.

The client was happy with the final product, but i am not very happy with it.

Wat Camera did you shoot with?

If this footage was shot with T2i/550D then you need to hack the plug-in in order to make it work with FCP.

Are you trying to log & transfer in FCP?

[Ryan Walker] “I think if I were to go in and start correcting different areas of the face with multiple mattes, I could get it right. But it’s probably not worth the time.”

I know a person who can fix it in few clicks.

    Hey Guys!

I recently started playing with apple color. I thought i will try my hand on Ryan’s clip and see how much can i correct it.

Do you think this image is any good? I am not sure abt my color skill but all criticism is welcome.

So in order to use this thunderbolt feature, does that mean that storage devices also need to have thunderbolt port or can it connect with any usb or firewire port ? If yes, would it still give you the enhanced speed?

    Hey Bob

I have never tried this before (copying files back to card).

Since you have already deleted the card, i guess you have no option but to copy the files back to card and see if the clip plays in the camera.

I agree with you. There was some kind of confusion in my mind as well because rumors were ripe that apple had abandoned fcp altogehter. Though i never believed these rumors but somewhere in my heart i was also wondering if i should switch to avid, just in case fcp becomes dead. Funny how I had started wondering how much time will it take to learn avid.

I don’t have any pressing need for a latest FCP update, but professionally it would not have made sense to continue working with a dead application.

    Do you have the card?

Was there a sudden interruption while recording? Maybe you need to repair that clip in camera before you can import it into fcp?
