So split the layer right where the final frame is, and then freeze frame it. Unless I got that wrong, it should work….

Have you ever used the turbulent noise effect? And even if you haven’t, just mess around with it and you’ll come up with something. 🙂

Well, I did find a lot of videos that are similar, but I’m not sure if the particle system can make the dust look exactly like the video. Maybe a turbulent displace on the video could help for the swirly effect?

I think just looking for stock footage might do the trick. It doesn’t look complicated at all, it’s literally just passing over the video.

Well, you might have to keyframe it manually if you can’t pickwhip it etc.

Well, you’re supposed to create a null and then when you export the tracking data in mocha, choose copy to clipboard, then when you go to AE, just past the data onto your null.
