I would have thought it must be seeing the card, as it has the option for Blackmagic Playback there. It’s just not selectable. I will try what you suggest though.

I tried creating a new sequence with black magic settings, then went to preferences, but the playback options are still greyed out.

Sorry, Mike suggested I unclick the Blackmagic box in the Playback Preferences, then restart the computer, then click it on again.
It didnt work.

I have another idea, perhaps using the car in a mograph cloner in object mode, and increasing the amount of spheres (clones) over time, then cutting it with the car in AE. Or something like that…

Hi Stacy,
I would stay away from flat rates. Perhaps one job demands much more complicated or intricate work than another.
I would charge an hourly rate. What you charge per hour depends on location, the competition, experience, software used, quality of your work etc etc. If youre 20 years old and living at Hotel Mumanddad, you would probably expect less than if youre 40 and paying off a house.

Evan, I can only reinforce what Mark has already explained. Just like language, pictures have composition and grammar rules. They must first be learned and understood, before you go breaking them. Where and how they are learned is up to you.

Thanks Mark. I find the first idea with the many different kinds of people opening the door to the delivery man a good one. Do you mind if I develop it a bit further that it fits more with the customers brief?
The second idea with the pub quiz scenario is a bit too complex, but entertaining all the same. They don’t really have pub quizzes as such here, so the concept might be a bit hard to grasp for them.

Thanks for the feedback. Originally I had it ending with the couple just reading, but then I thought perhaps it gives the impression that too many magazines in the house ruins your sex life!
